The challenge: How to create stunning walls and ceilings that do not distract from the quality cherry woodwork,

custom tile and marble, and mission lighting found throughout the house. Additionally, a lot the wall surfaces

 are in heavy traffic areas and needed to hide/hold up to everyday use. Finally, several of the spaces are

visibly connected but needed to stand on their own.   Sometimes color was used to connect areas,

sometimes shape or height. In the end, the results are simply stunning.

We knew the homeowners will be adding about a five-inch

crown molding throughout the house.  In essence this will

end up framing the art and faux.
